My painting practice stylistically are direct descendants from the comic and graphic novel genre.

Increasingly I have become interested in Medieval art with its inherent 'comic' nature - the story, the illustrative aesthetics, the long sweeping panels of interconnected narrative, the attention to detail and the use of symbolism to infer additional meaning in a scenario.
